So my New Year's resolution is simply to draw every day. To aid me in this endeavor, I finally stared a sketchblog. Chances are good that I'll be updating in post-dated chunks (for instance, tonight I don't feel like hooking up the scanner, so you'll get this weekend tomorrow), but at least you'll get to see what I'm doing on a regular basis.

Great idea! I would make the same goal for myself, except I haven't drawn anything for fun in about a year -- for the very reason I won't have time to do it yet again now that the semester has started.

You might want to try going out into the world and sketching what you see. Even if its rough/scribbly/unfinished, you'd be amazed at what kind of information you give yourself about the world and people when you draw what really is there...rather than a construct in your mind that you're trying to achieve.

Keep going, and update often!
