no longer stuck in kansas...after driving out of there at 50 mph to keep from overheating the bus, we made it to denver, just in time to miss both buses north. so now we are in denver till 8am...luckily, prodigalpunker lives in denver, so we at his place right now. this means that i will probably not be home until thursday night...optimistically... still stuck in kansas w/out a driver...has now been over 3.5 hours...just spent 40 min on hold with greyhound customer service...nice relaxing jazz music...call 214-849-8966 if you ever want some free music and don't want to ever talk to anyone

so the bad news is we were already running late, as always, and now we're stuck in kansas for an extra hour-and-a-half waiting for a new bus driver. the amazing news is - they have free public internet here. the pewter's probably saving all my passwords for identity theft later or something...so i'll keep my fingers crossed. buses suck, by the way ( Read more... )

mostly packed up...'puter's the last thing to go, of course - i want to savor my high-speed internets as long as possible
