I’m almost done with my chemistry class.  Yay!  I only have to go to Tri-C 2 more times and then I’m done with that cursed school forever.  Since I haven’t gotten a chance to talk about this class at all yet, let me just give you some general details.  My lecture teacher is about 85 years old, and can’t teach at all.  He’s half deaf and half the time when he’s teaching he fades out at the end so you can’t understand what he’s saying.  And when you ask him to repeat he either doesn’t understand what you’re talking about or he tells you to be more specific, which is impossible.  And my lab teacher is a Russian guy who has one of the thickest accents that I’ve ever heard.  I don’t pay attention to what he’s saying 90% of the time because I don’t understand what he’s talking about, and all he’s doing is telling us how to do the lab, which I already read or can read in the book.  And he’s obsessed with significant figures.  Almost done and I’ll thank myself next semester when I don’t have to worry about taking any science classes.

Work has been interesting, to say the least.  Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, because of this damn class I have to work nights.  Thankfully my scheduling manager only usually puts me on one night a week, since I hate them, and I have been there till close every single time.  I really don’t like closing (we close at midnight so I’m there till 12:30 or 1:00, and I have to get up at 6:30 the next morning for class), especially the shake machine, since I have to take all the shake base out of it, clean it, inside and out, take it apart and rinse off all the parts.  It doesn’t sound very difficult, but it usually takes 15-30 minutes.  Last night my manager didn’t make me close down the shake machine, though.  She just had me fill it to the top like we do on Saturday nights because she closed last night and it opening this morning, so she didn’t care.

Last week at work there was the one guy, a year younger than I am, who was on break, so we were talking.  Afterward he said that maybe we could hang out sometime and told me to get his number before I left.  Well, when I left he was in the back doing the dishes, and needless to say, I wanted to get the hell out of there, so I didn’t get his number.  Friday night my brother worked with him, so he have him his number to give to me, telling my brother that I was supposed to give it to one of my friends, since they needed to stay in touch.  He doesn’t know any of my friends.  Then he switched shifts with my brother (who was working during the day with me originally), saying that he needed to do something on Saturday night, so he couldn’t work.  After he got off on Saturday he then asked me if I was doing anything that night, which I was.  So was he just being hopefully, did he really have to go somewhere and wanted to take me, or did he just lie to my brother, I do not know.  And I don’t really want to figure it out right now.  Then I worked with him again last night and he wanted to know if I was free today during the afternoon or evening.  I told him that I had to work after class and then I had a hair appointment (I’m finally getting my hair done, after asking my mom for like 2 weeks to make me an appointment!! J), but I should be free after that.  I’m supposed to call him today after I get off of work, so we shall see what happens.  I might have a date tonight.    He could have picked a better time to ask me out though, since he’s leaving in like 2 or 3 weeks for South Carolina, where he’s going to be for like the next year with the Marines, and then after that he’s going to the West Coast or Japan for like 3 years.  So yet again I do not know what’s going on with him, and I’m not sure that I want to.

Well then.  This was a rather long post.  I guess that’s what happens when you don’t post for a good month and are long winded like I am.  Oh, and Steph, I will send you some mail, hopefully within the next week or 2.
