Summer movies review
Summer holidays mean lots of time to see movies :D
I did a Lord of the rings marathon with rosengirl and it finally reconciled me with the movies.
For those who didn't know, i wasn't fond of the lotr movies and never saw the 3rd one as the 2nd bored me to death.
But turns out they are good. My favourite is still the first (there are great scenes in the 2 others but I still think that they have tedious passages). I still hate Arwen and Galadriel and I despise the elves (they're just selfish bastards ><). But it wasn't as bad as i remembered it and the visuals are really stunning. Also the slash ! (my pairings : Sam/Frodo, Merry/Pippin and Legolas/Gimli, maybe Legolas/Gimli/Aragorn XD) AND HOBBITS FTW !!!
Also the cast is really awesome and lol for Elijah Wood who didn't change at all XD
I can't wait for the Hobbit now!!! :D
We also watched A bear named winnie and even if i'm not fond of animals movie, as i LOVE bears and i LOVE Fassy... FASSY + BEAR = LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE :DDDDDD
Other movies I watched at home :
- Inside I'm dancing : OH MY GOD JAMES MCAVOY HOW MY LOVE FOR YOU CAN GROW UP MORE ! YOU'RE SUCH AN AMAZING ACTOR ! I LOVE YOU FOREVER ! Everyone should see this one. It is such a beautiful movie *_____*
- Easy A : love love love. I laughed so much. And Emma Stone is really good. I can't wait to see her in the amazing spider-man !
- Adventureland : Not as great as I thought it was, but Jesse Eisenberg is enough to make a movie lol
At the cinema, we went to see :
- Bridesmaid which was a good summer comedy. I enjoyed it even if i don"t understand what was all the buzz about it. It was good, but not incredible
- Planet of the Apes : I loved it !!! I was expecting a big blockbuster with a lot of explosions and all, but it was more than that. It was quite thoughtful about about animals testing, pharmaceutical industry, ecology. I don't agree on all the messages but I like that it wasn't just stupid but also makes you think a little. Also James Franco <3333333333
- Killing Bono : we waited long to see it here but it was worth it. Robert Sheehan and Ben Barnes were really great and the roles fit them really well. I really should watch Cherry Bomb now !
And now, my Captain America review !
and guess what ! I LOVED IT ! I can't wait to see it again !!!!!
Steve Rogers is really a great character. He's really like I imagine, really straight, helpfull, loving people, thinking of other before himself.
One of my favourite scene is when he's training and he throw himself on a bomb to protect everyone else (and also... with the flag ? LOLILOL STEVE XD). I also loved that he became the army cheerleader XD (I loved that they kept this propaganda stuff from the comics XD) And all the fondue thing, this was hilarious XD he's just so naive XD he's just like a naive little flower. rosengirl gave him the nickname of captain ultimate bottom and it fits him so well XD I don't understand why everyone is making him a top in the fics... it's quite strange lol
His relationship with Bucky was great too. Even if I would have liked that bucky was the underage kid he is in the comics (because I like that bucky's death traumatized Captain America and made him anti teen super hero lol), but this bucky was really interesting too, like a big brother. And who will spit on Sebastian Stan really. Only regrets are that Bucky's death was really stupid, I wanted more drama for god sake ! and apparently the scenarists weren't aware of the rule which force them to make Sebastian Stan cry. Really when you hire Sebastian Stan you have to make him cry !
Another great point was daddy Stark with the always wonderful Dominic Cooper :D you can easily imagine him as Tony's father lol
The end was... well I still wonder about. I need to see it again XD
And the avengers trailer at the end !!!! RHO MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!! I FUCKING CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS !!! PLEASE GIVE ME A TARDIS SO I CAN GO IN 2012 TO SEE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT MORE STEVE MORE TONY MORE LOKI I WANT TONY/STEVE, THOR/LOKI I WANT A SLASH SUPER HEROES FEST !!!!
