Went to see "Clash of the Titans" this afternoon, and it was pretty good. To be honest, the 3D aspect wasn't all that impressive. The only time it was effective was during big CGI sequences. It's been a long time since I last went to the movies. Last time, the seat tore my back completely up. Wasn't too terribly bad this go around ( Read more... )

Glad you enjoyed the movie (I haven't seen it) and doubly glad you got to see the new Who. I loved it myself, and am looking forward to tonight's episode :)

Cheers!
Love ya!

Already itching to see "The Beast Below"! I'm captivated with Matt Smith's Doctor. He's just got it so right, you know what I mean? The whole time I was watching "The Eleventh Hour" I couldn't take my eyes off him. His presence demands your attention.

Oh yeah, he really worked for me. Granted I think it's because he found the right combination of Eccleston's intensity (he's almost a little frightening) and Tennant's girly science professor--not an insult, by the way, it's what I loved about him--that and the tears *L* (I loved the nods back to ten throughout) and then he mixed it with a certain agelessness (maybe cos he's young) and gawky charm.

Plus he's really easy on the eyes *LOL

Sorry, Im babbling...

Please, babble all you like! I've been dying to chat about the new episodes! Matt's already making the part his own, and I can see some definite inspiration from Patrick Troughton's Doctor in his performance. Matt had never seen the classic series, and when Steven Moffat gave him some DVDs to watch, he phoned up Moffat raving about the Second Doctor in "The Tomb of the Cybermen". He even insisted on having a bow-tie like Pat!
