Had my first day of work at my summer job and I think things went really well. I'm working as a barrista at a Starbucks inside a grocery store. I was worried at first that I had forgotten how to make drinks or that I would do poorly, but my boss told me at the end of the day that my past experience must be coming back to me and that I did better ( Read more... )

My car was fixed today. It was making a hannis clunking noise on the road so we took it in right away. Turns out that the front bumper wasn't screwed on correctly so that was contributing to the noise. While it is nice to be home, I also can't help but miss my school and those who are like my family there. Life runs differently here, so I'm trying to adjust to the changes. Made it back to Michigan successfully. Drove 7 hours and boy am I beat. Driving through Ohio was the worst because there were police everywhere, just itching to pull someone over, so I had to slow down a lot. Finished packing all my stuff, except for my clothes which I can shove into my duffel bag saturday. I'm still deciding if I want to go to the computer science graduation on saturday morning.
