I went away for the weekend. I didn't do anything except relax. It was a nice 3 days. Back to reality.

Tomorrow is my little brother's birthday. He will finally be 18. He is the absolute opposite of everything I am and everything I aspire to be. I suppose there is nothing wrong with that. Went to see Flogging Molly last night at the House of Blues at Downtown Disney. It was fun, if a bit deafening. The opening act had two bands. The first was awful but the second was pretty good. Just a couple days ago my best friend's grandmother passed away. I'd like to offer a moment of silence for a woman with an amazing sense of humor even in the face of death. The weather is mocking me. One half of the sky is a beautiful clear blue sun filled sky and the other half is an omnious gray. I look out the windo and I see the beautiful sunshine and decide (actually it was Ryan's idea, credit where credit is due) to go for a short bike ride with the dog.
