1. I hate Florida. I find nothing redeeming about living here. It is irrational…
2. I am from New Jersey. I was born there, and then my parents moved to Florida when I was a year old. I was raised in Florida, but my blood runs Jersey. I’ve always represented, even before Kevin Smith made it fashionable.
3. Given the opportunity however, I would move back to the Northern Virginia/ Washington D.C. area before anywhere else. I truly loved living there.
4. I can’t take tests; it stresses me out to no end. I over think everything about taking the test to the point of overload & I just shut down. It explains why I did so poorly in school & couldn’t cope with college.
5. I do love to learn. American history, especially the birth of our nation, politics, & just how things work & are made. I drive my wife crazy with the Discovery channel.
6. I can curl my lip like Billy Idol.
7. My paternal grandparents were distant cousins & their marriage had to be sanctified by the Vatican
8. I was very close to my paternal Grandmother. She passed away five years ago. She would come down from NJ to FL with my Grandfather every Christmas until he became too ill to travel. I think this is why I am such a poop at Christmas time.
9. My Grandfather developed dementia in his early seventies. I worry about it happening to my Father.
10. My memory has very little retention anymore. I really have to drill it home for it to stick (that’s what she said)
11. I love trains.
12. I want to build a model railroad in our house, but I just don’t think my skills will ever match my vision…
13. I suffer from social anxiety. It’s so bad that I am medicated for it. Once I get to know people, I am outgoing…it just takes a lot of time.
14. There is nothing I regret for the past five years, but much I do for the three years before that.
15. I can sleep anywhere. Movies, concerts, while driving…
16. Getting married for the first time was the worst decision I had ever made.
17. Getting married the second time was the best.
18. We can’t have children, & it doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would.
19. I have two nephews & one goddaughter who I don’t talk to as much as I should, or want to, but I laugh at the memories every single day.
20. I enjoy the company I work for & the job that I do, but dream of opening a sandwich shop one day.
21. There are dark places in my mind that I enjoy…
22. I cried while listening to the inauguration, because I believe in the fundamentals of our governing system & watched them trampled for the past eight years. I don’t expect miracles, but I wish for everyone to feel represented.
23. One of the best times in my life was when I worked at Outback Steakhouse.
24. I AM BATMAN! Sorry, I love Batman, ever since I was a wee lad. Don’t get me started on why he kicks ass & Superman is a wuss…
