And so sad, given what's happened to Mara and Luke...
Actually, for some reason (probably all the debate that's gone on about Jaina and Jag in the recent FotJ soap-opera stupidity), I've been thinking how sad it is in I, Jedi, when Corran comments that Mirax used Jaina and Jacen as ammo in her "Let's have a baby" argument and he makes a side comment about how the two are frighteningly cute. And how stupid it is that Denning decided that that frighteningly cute baby boy became a murdering, whiny Sith Lord, and that cute little girl became an insecure, emotionally shattered wreck who has to kill him.
And how I'm curious to know if there was a similar anti-Luke/Mara debate that I never heard because I wasn't online (and the online fandom wasn't as accessible back then) as there now is an anti-Jaina/Jag argument.
Wow, that really has next to nothing to do with this chapter. Sorry - it really is a very nice chapter. On I go!
