Singles Awareness Day...Survived!

So I survived another crappy Singles Awareness Dday. Definitely not a bad one. Easy way of deciding that is I didn't A) have my wisdom teeth taken out like 5 years ago (yet someone at work did, ouch) or B) didn't have plans with a single friend only for it to turn into her first date with someone else like 2 years ago. So I'd say I came out ( Read more... )

Hung out with my best friend, played with her sister's new puppy, and pretty much just chatted until it was time for her to go pick up her boyfriend from the nearby train station at 10pm. It was a good day. =)

Hmm. I might go see Definitely, Maybe. Maybe. I'm curious to see Isla Fisher, cos she's Australian and I want to see how she goes with a faux American accent. Heh. And Kevin Kline and Rachel Weisz because I think those two are supremely talented people.

Sounds like you had a fun day ^_^

Kevin Kline is friggin hilarious in the movie! Rachel Weisz...she's good in some stuff, but haven't seen her in too much to make a decision. I guess I just feel more drawn to all the other characters than to her =o/ She did good, don't get me wrong...

Hehehe! That's okay! I love Rachel Weisz. She's such a beautiful and amazing actress. I've seen her in The Mummy movies, About A Boy and Runaway Jury. I've also seen her in Enemy At The Gates, but I honestly can't tell you much about her performance in that movie cos it was so damn boring I slept through half of it.

I wondered about the logistics of that movie. How do you not know who your mom is?! I can understand your dad, but your mom? Maybe I just don’t want to think too much of it. I will probably go see it, I like Ryan Reynolds.

My VD day consist of me working both jobs and being bitter about it. It sucks to be one of the only single person in the office and watch flowers and candy fly through the halls.

She knows who her mom, she just doesn't know how her mom and dad met. The reason she wants to know is they're going through a divorce (seemed to be the mom's decision, yet it was never stated) so she hopes if her father tells the story of how they met he'd want to try to make the marriage work.

Man, that sucks about what happened at your work. Nothing like that happened at my work except for someone bringing in cookies, lol. It might have been different during dayshift, but working at nightshift no one even said the V-word...

Ah, that makes more sense. It was good to know that someone liked it, I will probably go see it now.
