House under contract!
And, voila, 6 days later, my house is under contract. How's that for action? Hopefully, this means we can move forward with everything else and be moving by the end of the month.

Holy cow! My house is for sale!

It's just a wee bit small for a growing family of six. But it's a great starter home, and we just finished xeriscaping the front, so maintenance is a snap. The backyard has potential, but right now it's a thriving dandelion farm. :)

The problem with phones
Gala's post regarding her cell phone reminded me of a funny story from last month. The day after I filed for the state senate race, I get a call from a local reporter in Tooele. Gaa! How'm I supposed to add friends? I go to their journal, userinfo, I expect to see something like "Add this guy to your friends list" but I get nothing. I'm so lost here. Wheres' the LJ user manual, and does it come in a convenient "Matrix"-like direct-to-brain download package? -
