OOM: En route to Csilla, aboard Sullustian Star

Jun 30, 2006 11:44

It wasn't fair. Jaina knew perfectly well that, even with the quickest hyperspace routes, the trip from Ossus to Csilla still took at least a couple of days.

Which meant, a couple of days stuck alone on this quick ship class shuttle - alone with Aeryn. And even if the shuttle was seventeen meters long, and designed to hold up to eight individuals, it was small. Unusually small and cramped with absolutely no room to escape the woman.

No one on Ossus that they had run in to had understood Zekk's animosity to the so-called Yellow Aces pilot. Yellow Aces; Zekk had remembered that group - specifically, remembered all the grief a couple pilots had given Jaina while she was on Borleias during the Yuuzhan Vong war. But it made perfect sense. Aeryn is a pilot, and she knows Wes.

But after a whole day alone with her, Zekk is ready to go kriffing insane. Jaina owes him, big time, for doing this. It was only any moment now, the Jedi assumes, that she'll find him hiding in the cockpit, trying desperately to slip into a Jedi meditation.
