I loved it from the second the opening snare fill happened. Did you get actual strings for it or are they synthy strings?

I've always wanted to do a Christmas song that was as awesome as The Waitresses' "Christmas Wrapping", but that is SO hard to top.

Thanks! Yeah, the opening snare roll was key, I felt. Those are not real strings, no, but they sound pretty decent, I think.

I have lots of fancy pirated midi software instruments. They can be fairly convincing in a mix with lots of reverb and general muddiness.
