So, all this kerfluffle with the WI teacher's union and their collective bargaining, plus other things in the news regarding private schools, no child left behind, etc got me thinking. And I asked the question "How much exactly are schools getting for each student". Conveniently the internets had some pretty handy bits of data in bite sized form

I would say the data is bad. We do not make anywhere near that much per student. I make roughly 50k take home. Not a great salary and I have 32-36 students per class.
