i'm considering buying a 19" widescreen lcd with my best buy gift card.

this would of course mean that my non-flatscreen optiquest 17" crt from the year 1997 would be out of a job.

poor little optiquest. he doesn't even know it's the new millenium and that he should be dead or super-blurry by now. still goin strong like it's the late 90s...

as the owner of a 20" widescreen, let me tell you that it's worth it to get the extra inch.

unfortunately it looks like best buy only offers 19" and 22". i could go for a 22" but it might be overkill for me...
