Congratulations! That's super exciting, and I'm really happy for you that it's in your field. There's nothing more rewarding then actually putting your education to some use!

All I did for the interview tips was google "interview tips" and it brought up a bunch of articles. They're all pretty standard mind you, so you don't have to read too many. One of the big suggestions is to do lots of research on the company you're interviewing with. I also found it helpful to try and find interview samples for jobs in similar areas (like I googed "interview + government jobs") and that helped narrow down some more specific questions.

GOOD LUCK!. :) When is the interview or do you still have to wait to schedule it?

Thanks!

Yeah, I didn't think that I would find a job like this for a while, so hopefully everything will fall into place! Are situational questions hard if you've never been in that kind of situation (ie. no work experience besides Alcan summer student)? .. my answer of choice is "ask for help"!

The interview would be sometime the week of March 24th or around there because they are hoping to have the position start in the middle of April. :)

Well, considering it's an entry level job, any situational questions they ask will most likely keep that in mind. When I did my situational questions in the interview, I explained what I would do with the knowledge I have now-- but then explained that obviously I might react differently based on guidelines or experience I don't know or have right now.

That gives you at least a week or two to prepare, so that's good news. It's nice when they give you a sort of deadline, so you know when they hope to have the position filled. I hate jobs that you have no idea when they want to have someone hired for. :\
