I have a cross country story I think you will appreciate.

Running one day, my team found a large cone on the paths on Earlham's back campus. I put it in the back of my car. A few days later I was sick of having it in my car, so my teammate Katie and I left it in our teammate David's car when he left it unlocked. Then we drove off. A few days later David left it on top of my car and drove off. I didn't want to pollute, so back in my car it went. This continued for quite a while. We called it the Cone Wars.

That is awesome!

Speaking of awesome, I really like "Road to Joy." Thanks for the recommendation.

I had assumed it was Jacen, but once we found out how old they're all supposed to be there, I began to wonder... maybe that's Ben? He'd probably be the right age for that picture. Maybe.

I wondered that too. But I think Ben was described as having red hair and freckles. He would be the right age, though. So it's either a too-young picture of Jacen, or a wildly inaccurate picture of Ben.

Wow, that is a bad picture. Maybe they got it mixed up with a video game promo picture at the printer's somehow?

That would explain it. The "don't judge a book by its cover" cliche certainly comes into effect here.

I just read Betrayal, and I remember you posting about it. Read it. I personally think it's amazingly good. (Amazon doesn't completely agree with me--4 stars. Too bad. My only complaint was that allston says " grinned" WAY too many times.) You don't need Dark Nest (I didn't like dark nest all that much)--it mentioned a small bit of dark nest, but explained it well enough; although perhaps dark nest'll give you a grounding in all the characters in legacy. I don't remember it especially well... ;)
