I'd like to say I was going through a bad phase in my life. The only problem with that is now that I have finally come out the other side I realize that almost 10 years of total insanity can't really be called a phase

There's a part of me that wants intensely to get another bike after 35 years away from them, and join you on that ride. I think the other 55 parts of me are getting ready to kick the shit out of that rebel part, though...
