I am so beyond excited. I never thought I would walk away from a Glee episode, let alone THIS Glee episode, with so many emotions but ohmyeverlovinggod did I.
I squealed. I cried. I shouted for joy. I cried. I jumped up and down. I cried. I wrung my hands. I squealed. And I cried some more. The whole thing felt like a fanfic come to life. I love it.
Also, I love the fact that the drama centers around Brittany, and not Santana, being stubborn. No one saw that coming. I think it gives her room to grow.
The one thing I can't decide is if this was totally planned from the get go of this season. I mean if you go back, you can see a setup for it. But is that just a convenient coincidence, or did RIB actually have continuity and those small little moments were really leading up to Santana's love declaration?
In any event, 'sex is not dating' and scissoring made them canon. But this episode? I'm pretty sure it made them endgame.
I'm willing to bet it was planned from the moment the iconic "Sex is not dating" line happened. And I'm also willing to bet (judging by Brad's tweet) that they've always been an endgame couple.
The lead argument being that even if those background moments were Heya being Heya, they could have easily edited them out.
You know what's funny? Most episodes, I see at least a little Naya or Heather come out, at some point or another. I'll have to rewatch it, but I don't remember that happening tonight. Which I guess it's a credit to decent writing. Or the fact I'd be tinhatting hardcore if I did see them instead of Brittana lol
Brad is at the top of my baby daddy list right now though. He really really came through. Even with Ryan Murphy directing it.
Sounds good. I've stopped watching Glee but after stuff I've read, I just have to watch it for myself :) I hope Brittany and Santana get together in the end! Artie annoys me, no matter who he's dating.
