Eh, I'm not sure I don't want a more elaborate explanation for what is going on but I'll wait to see what you got.
...I didn't like the end for obvious reasons but at the same time I did like it because the alternatives (Dean not believing Sam, Dean not caring about what he said, Dean walking away) would mean that he accepted what was going on and really Dean has been shrugging and accepting so much stuff lately that I'm just glad he won't do it when it comes to Sam. Sam is still the exception, the one thing he'll fight for. Or against, I'm not sure :/
But well, there's hope.
And seeing as the writers have apparently been reading so much fic lately, please let me point out this genre called h/c where there is comforting and nursing back to health and cuddling :D Y/Y?
P.S.: Weren't the guys fantastic? Maybe it's me but from looking great to some truly awesome acting, I'm kinda awed at how they just keep getting better.
