I was going to check how long it has been since my last post but decided not to because... it's just ridiculous, really.
I do have a mostly finished report of JIB2 to post someday, when I have time. I hope.
So, Show is back (I know, has been back for awhile, shhhh). I loved the last 3 episodes. The story and pacing picked up and we got surprises and twists and smiles and all the things I like about Supernatural in the first place.
Mainly: our boys are working as a team and getting along and being brothers, dorks and awesome hunters all in one neat gorgeous ADORABLE package.
I missed them so much :D
Plot is finally coming together. As much as I've seen this wondering around with plotlines before tying it all together in every other season for some reason this annoyed me this time around. The clues we were given were so insubstantial that I wasn't having much fun linking the pieces like I usually do. But it seems they are getting somewhere now so the writing of possible scenarios is my head is back to normal : p
How glorious was the Dean and Sam in the Wild West. Most delicious hour of TV I've seen in a long long time \o/
Also, finally, really-fucking-finally Castiel gets a few more layers. I was thinking that with all the things that can happen to an angel fighting a war AND on team free will he was really being underused.
And I have to say that even though I suspected Crowley would somehow be back, I did not see that coming with Castiel working for him. Been a while since Show surprised me that much. Kudos to Mark Shepard and his MI5 training as well, he does not break his silence :p
My one nitpick right now is with the blatant innuendo not only with Sam and Dean but Dean and Castiel as well. Yes, we know that you know what we fans write and think. You've made that point several times, I think it is OK to stop now. Promise we'll still be slashing everyone even if you never mention it again.
Really, it was fun the first few times but now it just overdone.
Other than that: awesome!!! I'm so happy to be happy about Supernatural again, I can't even explain :DD
In other news, I've been both busy and lazy, hence the no posting. I think this will go on for a while but I do lurk and see what's up with the flist, so I'm not that far really :)
