You know, I could really get behind this new trend of exciting Super Bowls that are actually decided in the fourth quarter.

And Sean Payton has balls of titanium-dipped adamantium. An onside kick to start the second half? Who does that?

It was nice to watch a game with a flow to it. Not a ton of penalties. Close enough game in the second half that one or two plays decided the outcome.

More importantly, according to the Snickers ad, Abe Vigoda is still alive.

And this is the third one in a row that's actually gone to the wire. I'm not sure what the cause is, but I kind of like this new world where the game is exciting and the ads aren't all that interesting. (Though I did like the VW "punch bug" one.)

Completely agreed. The refs let a lot of ticky-tack penalties go (was there even one defensive pass-interference call?) and the game flowed well. Good game, well-played on both sides.

And Sean Payton is indeed the man. The onside kick was fuckin' fantastic.
