Video Killed the Radio ... well, "Star" is overstating things, isn't it?
I'm playing bass on WGN TV's midday news tomorrow (Fri 4/10) with Sharpe World Music Ensemble. I think that's on basic cable for much of North America. It's channel 307 on DirecTV.
The show runs from Noon to just after 1pm Central Time. This is how I think it will work: We'll play two clips going into commercial during the hour, and then we'll have a full song toward the end while the credits roll.
The group:
Tom Shape: piano, lots of percussion, loops, starring role
Jennifer Gillespie: electric violin
Amanda Nelson: electric cello
Jeff Elbel: electric double bass
