Glee, "Blame it on the Alcohol"

My thoughts will be very brief this time around.

Okay, can I just say that I was totally on board with most of the episode. Beiste being a badass, the drunken Glee party shenanigans (SO MUCH like a bunch of theater parties I've been to), Rachel's absolutely awful original song - that was good. That was cool. It was fun. And they did Ke$ha! Which I'd been waiting for ever since Brittany joked about it back in the Spears episode! (They just had to interrupt that performance with GRAY VOMIT EVERYWHERE, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.)

But that conversation in the coffee shop - I just. AGH. Blaine and Kurt said some terrible, terrible things to each other and it was never addressed again. (And I know better than to hope that it'll be brought up in a later episode.)  And the ending scene, with the chipper "Yup, I'm gay!" - it just felt so tacked-on and incredibly tonally different from the rest of that whole arc. I just - here, lemme just end this by saying that sotto_voice's AWESOME post-episode fic is canon and nobody, not even the show itself, can tell me otherwise.

The end.
