i can actually. sound isnt an intregal part of my imagination. maybe im jsut wierd. My understanding is that stars twinkle all the time and that the only things that dont twinkle are planets and other reflective bodies like satelites. the twinkling is a series of explosions in the since that the surface of a star is basically one constant explosion but i think it is really just irregularities in the direction and intensity of the light that they emmitt.

Just FYI - Stars do NOT twinkle, the atmosphere causes the twinkle effect. If you got out beyond the atmosphere, the light is constant. Our star, Sol, does not twinkle. The reason being that it and the moon are too close for the effect.

Stars, except for the Sun, although they may be millions of miles in diameter, are very far away. They appear as point sources even when viewed by telescopes. The planets in our solar system, much smaller than stars, are closer and can be resolved as disks with a little bit of magnification (field binoculars, for example

Alright I think we've safely made it way off topic. Let's return :-D
My problem isn't with a star twinkle (or the lack thereof) ... I'm in the more less intelligent realm of thinking at the moment and trying to think of an explosion without thinking of the sound. For some reason I can't do it.
BTW - do I know you or are you just a random person?
so, jeffery, are you or are you not going to the suppossed dance that we mightbe having saturday night at a time and location that i have no clue about. I dont know what time it is,but hey, ihave a dress, that's all that matters.
I have to work Saturday night. :-\ I wish I could go but I knew that I'd have to work and you know how OG bussers are! No one wants to pick up a Saturday night (even though I've covered for half of them before).
Plus, I can't request off on Saturdays! HOW GREAT IS THAT! I love how Alan schedules me!! ITS AWESOME BECAUSE MY WHOLE WEEKEND IS RUINED. It's been this way for a month and a half.
So, whatever. I was going to ask you if you wanted to go, but I'm not going to be able to. And as you can tell, I'm not happy about it.
It's over at University Downs.. and I dont know what time.
i'm so sorry!!!! =( =( Yeah, u know, i really dont like alan. I've considered hostessing and serving, but i dont want alan to have anything to do with my schedule, so I won't be a hostess. I"m not exactly the president of the alan johnson fan club.
oh well =( I"m going, but i dont know how much fun i'm going to have. I'm not exactly miss " i like to dance in public so i can be laughed at".
