I'm just as bad. I'm no diferent except for the fact that I have been justified in the sight of God because I belong to His Son. But that was a gift that I didn't have any choice about, so yeah, We are the same.

The Son appears to be a pagan from available evidence.

When you say you belong to his Son, you may not be accurate - might I ask specific church you belong to?

What evidence do you speak of? The reason that it matters that I belong to His Son is that His Son Jesus, is the heir of God's kingdom. And I am a co-heir with Christ because I am part of His church which is His bride and He is its Bridegroom. Why would I not be accurate? The Holy Spirit (which is the third person of the Godhead. He is fully God and yet fully his own person. GOd is one and there is only one God yet He is revealed in three different persons with different funtions) gives witness to me through the scriptures that I am acurate.

You mention
1. The church: Which church? All popular ones were established AT LEAST 400 years after Christ's birth. The most prominent one was established by the Romans i.e. the very pagans who killed Jesus.
WHICH CHURCH, I ask again. The fragmentation of churches should be proof that most practising Christians today are following something slightly different from Jesus' teachings.
2. The church as bride??? Nuns in orthodox Roman Catholicism are considered brides of Christ, but the church has never been mentioned in those terms. Where are you getting your ideas?
3. The "Scriptures" (I assume you mean the Bible) are written by apostles AND modified by committees by a democratic vote. This is hardly how I expect a true and real GOD to allow his word to be treated. There are four separate versions of all events - this multiplicity gives rise to doubt, not faith.
