I hear good things about Nintendo's customer service. One fellow I know had a big scratch on his DS screen, sent it to be fixed and got a brand new machine in return.

The problem with a Wii though is all the info you already have on their, your Miss and so on, and VC games are non-transferable.

So here's hoping you get it up and running again soon.
