Wow - only 30 months..

Ok... well it's Monday - Stephen is home and we're chillin.... windy and gorgeous out and I got to thinking... scary thought...

we all know that jeff died - my only kid - seriously my first best friend - so yeah, he's gone... it's been 30 months - seems like yesterday

Hi there! I've been on your website for more than a year now. I've listened to you and will continue to listen. Do what you have to, what everyone else thinks/does is irrelevant because you are the one going thru this hell not them. I will always listen. Take Good Care.

Please don't be so hard on yourself. It isn't you. It hasn't been that long. Your schedule of grieving, for lack of a better term, is different than anyone else's. Some people who have gone through a very traumatic loss define their lives as "before" and "after". You are not and will not ever be the same person you were before, but God willing, you will someday realize that you came out the other side. It can be done, but it just hasn't been long enough for you, as his mother. Other people in your and Jeffrey's life may, at this point, be emerging from the darkness of grief, and someday you will, too.

Please take care of yourself and never give up hope that things will be better some day than they are right now, because they WILL BE.

Racing thoughts happen to a lot of people, especially intelligent people. It's the control you have to develop over them that bothers people so much. Not really the content of the thoughts. Deep thinkers always are plagued with the what if thought process ... and I bet because of this way of thinking, you stay prepared for the worst now. - So ok ... moving onto the other topic of if it's you and that's why no one calls ( ... )

hi...i have been following you for close to a year now. when my friend jeff died i typed something on the internet and came across your site. i am a mom of 3 kids and cannot imagine the pain you must have. i log on to check up on you and see how you are and i can understand that you are not well. that has to be o.k. right? fuck...who says you need to get over it or deal with it or find closure? fuck that i am with you...feel your pain because it is real. and i am sorry that anyone has to go through this. but there isnt a solution...it hurts so bad god dammit. and i dont even know how bad...i miss my friends that have passed and my dad so bad so bad. and my dad died 6 fucking years ago...i cant get over it. life is so hard. my thoughts are with you and i wish you peace you deserve it. bye cindy
