My date!

Going to meet him was the best thing I could have done.  Thank god the pains had gone as well.  All I was feeling were butterflies.

I got the train and throughout the whole journey I was thinking "what if he's not as I remembered?", "what if there's nothing there?"  I was so nervous.  But I got a message just as I was getting in saying that he was ( Read more... )

An amazing time, Amanda! He was very sweet to get you something for passing your lessons. :) I would get him a small something for his birthday at any rate. Perhaps something little and Man U. related since he's such a fan and it would be a way for him to remember the day as well?

((hugs))

That seems a really good idea. Thank you :) I think I might phone him, aswell, tomorrow, while on my lunch break - just to say happy birthday. I just think it means a bit more then sending a message. Or is that too much considering I spent a whole day with him yesterday? Can you tell I've not done this very often? haha

I thought it was really sweet as well. I was speechless for a bit. I've never had a guy buty me a present before.

I think ringing him with a birthday message is just fine: after all a birthday is a special occasion.

I am so happy you had a good time. :)

Dating is such a new thing each and every time. I don't blame you for wondering which to do and which not. It's confusing!

Sounds lovely! I would say it would be cool to get him a little something, but nothing too 'boyfriend-girlfriendy', you know?

And on the 'status' thing, I would say give it another couple of dates, and then if things are going well, then you'll probably get a better sense of where things are going.

Thanks. I'm quite impatient so I like to know already, haha. As for the pressie. I had a thought and might just get him a little something man utd/family guy related, as I know he likes both.

Awwww, thats sounded like an awesome date, it seems like he really likes you. He bought you a pressie which shows you hes keen. Take it slow if u wanna, but also let it progress naturally. Dont worry about the age thing, I went out with a guy last year who was 6 years younger than me (he was 19 I was 24)

Keep us posted as to how it goes :D

I guess I should think if it's going to work it will. No point in forcing it? Thanks. :D I'm hoping that because he is a little older he will seem that bit more mature at times. haha And I'll definately keep you posted. :D
