I can't believe it's been over a month since I posted here, time is slipping by so fast these days because we can't have normal nightlife at the moment. What day is it? If I wasn't working Monday to Friday and Travis going to Nursery Tuesday to Thursday, I probably wouldn't know

Wow that has got to be tough that he sleeps so fitfully.

i can't honestly believe that parts of our country are being so cavalier about this. Your paycheck will do no good to you if you're dead. Even when things open up I will not be in any big hurry to go round crowds of people. I am glad we have a governor who takes it pretty seriously while also recognizing the sacrifice a lot of people are making. I feel incredibly privileged to be able to stay here and still get paid.

It's getting close to three years of our lives now; at times it is wearing pretty thin.

Exactly, we are very lucky to be able to work at home and get full pay.

I get that some people have financial pressures and want/need to work but the idiots who want to go out and get a haircut. Or see a baseball game because a video on YouTube told them it wasn't that serious, they are absurd.

Our state of emergency has been extended until mid-May, but I believe it’s going to be extended longer than that. Those are the rumblings I hear, anyways. I support having strict precautions in-place in regards to congested environments. Our workplace says it won’t call people back in once the stat of emergency lifts, thankfully everyone WFH is going well, so they are not in a hurry to bring folks back in.

That makes sense about your dad - I’m sure loving your partner changes your entire world.

I don’t have Spotify, but the nostalgic playlist sounds fun ! Jilly’s was a low-rent strip club in Toronto, so I can’t help but think of that when I hear the name. We joking for called it “Jiggly’s”

That's good, I'm glad your leader seems to be seeing sense. The mistrust a lot of workplaces have of WFH is gradually melting away - this can only be a positive outcome from a shit situation.

Yep, it does but now he is also free to do exactly as he pleases, rather than caring for someone with a mental illness..!
