I've started going to the barn, been to a shop or two, picked up takeaway Chinese food in the last week. Then Sunday i got hit with a sore throat - oh no! Tyler made a joke, but being my first week out, I didn't laugh much at it, didn't get angry either, but I thought "well, it is my first time out in months, could it be...?"

Thankfully it was not.

Openings haven't been going well in the US, we are still at Stage 1.

We had a friend round for a BBQ a couple weeks back, sat apart, but she ate food I prepared. All was good. Good to actually SEE someone other than my beloved, much as he's a delight and all that.

I still follow safe practices - mask, sanitizer, washing of hands, distancing. I will continue to do so for the foreseeable, anytime I am out. The barn has a strict protocol. I've been enjoying the quiet time I get there, usually it can be quite busy.

I do miss the hugs.

Also, I thought Tyler was making reference to the fact it was a Chinese restaurant too! Conspiracy Theorists would be going nuts on that one!

Yeah, it's weird, isn't it? You make such a big thing out of actually seeing someone, when we wouldn't a few months back. I get what you were saying, obviously it's no critique on Tyler but even in the best of relationships, you need other company.

I think EVERYONE misses the hugs.

Oh, ha ha, nope - just that it was my first few forays out into the world., tho I'm sure com eejiots would assume they could get ill from tasty, tasty Chinese food!

Variety is the spice of life - Tyler and I get lost of time together, gotta mix in a wild card every now and then, heh.
