This app is very weird to write in. The text bobs around the page for no real reason!

I digress... I am also alive! For those who don’t follow me on social media or know me in ‘Real Life’.

Oh my gosh. is Dad doing okay now?? a friend my age, who is living with MS, also had a stroke not long ago. Scary stuff.

I saw your post about the festival. There's a big one happening in September but I'm not going... not because COVID, just wasn't feeling the line-up.

He is doing well, thank you! He has lost the peripheral sight in both eyes but he views as "It could have been much worse!" It is most scary that he didn't go to the Hospital sooner...

Save your pennies for the ones that you are feeling. Just as gigs are back, doesn't mean that you HAVE to go to them.

OMG about your dad! Is he recovering now?

Have you had your second jab? We’ve had our first and will be booking our second now that they’re opening that next week.

Yes, thankfully! He has had a great deal of post-Stroke support (God bless the NHS!) and they have told him that he is: "doing everything right."

Not yet, Toni had hers' on Friday and had some horrible after-effects. Are you both got your full complement now?

Oh good, whew!

Sorry to hear Toni felt ill! Which vaccine did she get? We get our second on Thursday. If it's not Pfizer, I will rebook. I am choosing NOT to mix them.

Will go FB friend you now. :-)

These things happen, the 1st shot wiped me out and the 2nd one did likewise to her - both were Pfizer. How did yours' go? Makes sense that you want the same ones.

Omg, that is quite crazy about your dad, but I am glad to hear that he is doing about as well as he could now under the circumstances.

I hope you had fun at the concert! Not sure when I will finally make it to one again.

Glad to hear fatherhood with two littles ones now is treating you well. :)

It helps that he is being very philosophical about it, knowing that it could be much worse. He seems to be in a very deep thinking place at the moment, bringing up stuff (such as the would-have-been elder sister they aborted for medical reasons.)

It was amazing! A whole weekend of concerts - with no restrictions, loved it!

This time around is MUCH more enjoyable. How joyous it is to get decent amounts of sleep, a lot of the time.
