Falling With Grace

Life is so achingly short, and it can be so easy to think so little of oneself for most of this time. When we discover something empowering, a lift above the rubble of our own self-imposed mediocrity, how can we do anything less than take hold for dear life? So, I've been reading teh Confessions of St. Augustine for my religion class... Mind you, I don't subscribe to any 1 religion, but I think your perspective is thought provoking and I think you may identify with his writings.

That's my 2 cents.

I'm not sure I'm quite grasping the process of eroding the "saving grace" so to speak. I'd love to read a more concrete example. Also Why can't one find a balance, or something that can save them while you empower the empowering thing? perpetual motion and all that?
