The platonic relationship thing is a good point. I had guy friends throughout middle school, and I felt nothing remotely romantic for them (well, all but one of them, but that still applies to the HP situation...basicallyish). And about Harry, it's true. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I actually like Harry, I get so used to CAPSLOCK!HARRY. When I read, I try and keep in mind that he can be really awesome.
