hey, i'm enjoying them too... i'm gonna throw an idea out there because i'm not sure how i'd answer it either, but it kind of confuses me. So God created us to love him, but in our arrogance we turned away. And it made God really angry wit us. But if God created us with that capacity to be arrogant, wouldn't he expect that from us anyways?

I knod of had this talk with some people the other day. God created us to love him. And the thing that demonstrates his own love for us so much is the fact that he gave us the ability to choose whether or not we'll love him. Think about it, if you made something with one purpose, but it chose not to fulfil that purpose? Would you keep it around? Heck no. But God does, and it simply amazes me. If he made us to love him, but didn't give us a choice: one, would it really be us loving him? and two, would it really mean he loved us?
