Most of the people I talk to on Live Journal have moved to Dreamwidth - a similar set-up but run by volunteers, unlike LiveJournal, which is Russian-owned. I only maintain an account here for the couple of people who haven't moved, and I seldom update it.

This should tell you how to migrate - basic accounts are free on Dreamwidth. You can post in Dreamwidth and tell it to copy across to LJ for anybody still on LJ.

It's just much quieter here than it used to be. I have a Dreamwidth account too but post to both equally as sporadically!
