James left me tonight. We had only said a couple of words to each other all day. No I love you's nothing. I got really upset thinking about our 3 year marriage and how pathetic it was for the two of us to be just like vinager and oil. I decided instead of coming home to James bitchin at me for what he calls "not doin anything" I would come home

Life IS too short to be unhappy, and theres nothing dysfunctional about divorce if its for the best. The only thing dysfunctional would be staying in this marriage where you are completely niserable. Good luck whatever happens.

I totally agree... dysfunctional is when you know you are not happy... you cant hide it from your kids... they will know too... maybe in a few years.. but eventually they will unconsiously map their life based on yours... so if you are in a verbally abusive marriage... they will likely date or lean torward dramatic abusive relationships
