Trying out the Android app for livejournal and seeing if I can get back into the swing of using more than FB or Twitter and the whole microblogging schtick. I miss my therapeutic long ramblings.

So far so good. I can't seem to browse friends but that's fine, I just wanted something to be able to post on the go.

You can have LJ posts notices of updates to your FB and Twitter, but the side effect of that would be alerting everybody who watches you on those sites that you have a LJ, which is precisely why I don't do that. :P The last thing I need is my family finding my LJ and reading those rare entries where I criticize them.

I keep those entries on friends only either way just to be safe :P Oh another thing, normally FB/Twitter will update with public entries, but with the LJ app it didn't post to either. I was pleasantly surprised.

I take it back. It updated Twitter (which updates to my FB) 3 mins ago, and directly updated FB 3 hours ago :P
