I think it depends on how you look at it. Catholicism certainly frowns upon sexual promiscuity, but I don't think secular morality has anything against it, just as long as it happens between two consenting adults.

Personally, I'm waiting for "the right guy", but that doesn't give me the right to judge others who enjoying having casual sex. As long as they use protection I don't mind. To each his own.

promiscuity--it really depends on one's view of what having sex. is it something that should be done with feelings or as a couple? if yes, then that person would view being promiscuious as bad because he would prefer monogamy which is contrary to what casual sex is all about. on the other hand, if a person only sees having sex as a way to satisfy his sexual urge, then he would think otherwise because with casual sex, there is no feelings involved. it's plain physical satisfaction so there's no need to be monogamous.

are you sure it's really you're conscience that's stopping you from giving in to these carnal desires? i doubt. if promiscuity is not your taste, why would you even bother to figure out if it's good or bad in the first place?
