Fanfiction.net finally made a Jekyll category!

The subject line pretty much says it all. There is now a Jekyll category in the TV Shows section of FFN. I just thought I'd mention it on the off chance that it might inspire people to go running off and start writing new Jekyll fic. Hope springs eternal and all that. :)

Sheesh, that took friken forever. Thank you to whoever kept pressing them to add one. I only attempted a couple times loooong ago.

I e-mailed FFN Support about it a couple of days ago and got a reply saying that it had been added. I don't know if they wait until they get a certain number of requests and mine was the final one needed, or if I just happened to send my request when the nice guy was on duty, or what. It might have helped that, in addition to mentioning my own stories, I also listed your stories and Jenwryn's "Mind the Game," all with Author ID and Story ID numbers, while making the argument that being forced to post Jekyll stories in the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde category was like posting The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne stories in the War of the Worlds section. Then a minute after hitting "send," I had to kick myself because I remembered that War of the Worlds was by Wells, not Verne, but that doesn't seem to have done any harm to anything other than my own geek pride.
