You create your own destiny, so choose to be happy, or choose to be sad. Life will always throw us curveballs, you just have to learn how to hit them. You are a terrific person, and I am truly sorry to hear about your father, but you must remember the good times he has had, and hopefully your kitty will come home soon :)
