I didn't really forget about livejournal, I just took ages to get off my butt and scan anything. But I finally got around to it so here you go - some month-old sketches!
The asylum characters nurturing potted plants...
Panto refereeeeence. My sketchbooks are actually full of Harry Potters claiming to be the chosen one, 'bitches'.
Shameless crossover. The fairy floss Vander story is an unwritten idea for an Asylum chapter in which Inga, Florien and Vander go to a fair.
Because kicksatanout did it :P People keep saying Fry doesn't look Fryish enough, I think the nose isn't wonky enough.
Cold weather... come back!!! It's suddenly summery here and it's only just Spring. We probably only got a week's worth of rainy days this Winter. Even worse than usual...
My default subject matter is pirates
Some character designs for a comic / story I'm never going to draw. It's about a brother and sister team of thieves called Annie and James. They go under half a dozen aliases and hang out at posh ribbon-cutting ceremonies and art galleries... then they steal stuff.
And that's all the sketches I have right now. I'm currently on very little sleep because of the Panto - the performances are Thursday (tomorrow) through Saturday so last night I had a rehearsal from 5pm till 4am. Tonight's should be shorter, which is good, because I got about five hours' sleep and I feel weird, like I'm sick or something...
If you're at UWA, go to the Panto. Seriously. Go. It is the funniest play I have ever seen and it makes me so unbelievably proud to be in it. It's chock full of innuendo, memes, and wonderful wonderful actors.
