Yesterday we (My MIL, Wife and Son) ate at an honest to goodness pharmacy lunch counter. The last one I ever saw was in my hometown of Suffolk. There were a few there but the pharmacies have since closed down. I've been on an "on and off again" search for an authentic one for awhile now. What is a pharmacy lunch? It sounds like you're eating medication. Excuse my ignorance but that is just what it sounds like.

It's a Pharmacy lunch counter. It's simply a counter in the local pharmacy where you can buy hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken salad sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, milk shakes and all kinds of wonderful things. They were all over the place way back in the day, but times change and they are extremely hard to find.
