I don't think this seems all that melodramatic. In fact, I'd say it's pretty in tune with the misunderstandings people tend to have when they're younger. Not saying what they're thinking to everyone, confiding in one or two people, thinking it's the end of the world... or in other people's cases, thinking everything will magically get better without doing anything.

You really kind of... make them feel pretty natural. Acting their age, going through an AU plot without losing those certain aspects of their characters we can identify.

And if I go on any longer, this will get kind of word-barf like, so I'll just say I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. I love when things get resolved.

heh, I try so very hard. And I will never ever try to write younger people EVER again. xD Basing this stuff on how i dealt with things when i was 17 takes a lot out of me.

I kinda wish this series was over already and things had been resolved. xD (not looking forward to writing those scenes.) Maybe I'll write the last five chapters faster because of this? xDD or not.
