I ordered $400 worth of jewelry making supplies today. Lots of bronze and copper sheets, tubes, beads and such. Not so much silver.  All the silver sheets etc. were almost double of the prices in the catalog.  I could have spent the entire $400 dollars on silver ended up with only a handful.  It's a good thing people like my mixed metal look or I'd ( Read more... )

My scooter  friend made me my first birthday meal!

We had BRV 1.5 Reisling with
Shrimp,Red peppers and chives and homemade pesto orange sauce over linguini
and
a tawny port with
homemade orange icecream and chocolate almond torte

The shrimp dish reminded me of one I used to make all of the time with orzo.  Light and fresh and yummy!

I think if you are a religious leader and you tell your people that they should not see a movie it is because you are afraid it will alter their faith in some way.
