Just got home... been at school about 15 hours today... general auditions for the musical... heard "My Country Tis of Thee" 126 times... Callbacks tomorrow... bah!

Guess who just accepted a position as the 6th grade Theatre Arts teacher at my school?? Our good friend Nadaha! Good times. Everyone call and congratulate her :)

I am officially a proud theatre teacher. My kids were amazing last weekend. They played to full houses and killed. I heard things from my principals today like "best middle school play I have seen"... which admittedly is not saying too terribly much but still. My kids blew me away. OK. So when they told me that I would get sick alot during my first year of public school teaching, I thought that they meant colds, flu, stomach viruses. I just got an email from my new principal saying that they still need to hire another teacher. She asked if I knew anyone who was looking. From what I understand it may be a part-time position.
