Yay! Neat on the thing and the plates thing. :) Does that mean you're going to come visit sometime? :)

That Ford in the background looks sweet!

Yeah, that's my boyfriend's van :) he loves it, total mystery machine. He'll be happy to hear the compliment!

PLEASE tell me that van is mid- or rear-engined. Those are the best. I'm a bit sad, though, that I didn't post about it first ;)

And how big is the teardrop trailer going to end up?

The van is mid-engined you sit right next to it if you're in the front, or right on it if you're adventurous. My boyfriend just got his other car out of the shop- it's a 68 buick electra that he's restored he was acting like a kid on christmas, it was cute.

The teardrop is 10' long by 4' wide and I forget how tall. Yesterday my buddy Zach hooked me up with some free hardwood flooring for it, which is gonna be totally sweet. We now have the fenders assembled!

WOW. That is far bigger than the pictures make it out to be! Those old vans always looked smaller than they really were ;) And as for car restoration...Electras rock. They're second in size only to Cadillacs of the same vintage and have a style that is timeless.

There had better be gobs of chrome on the trailer when it is done :D
