First off I'm having a little chuckle at the fact that you will be waitressing. Man do you feel like someone trying to get into Hollywood yet? All in good nature of course...

As for the Korean culture: A friend of mine worked as a spy in Korea for a couple of years, and one comment about the culture stuck in my head: Women. Apparently the typical Korean girl is VERY girly. They've absorbed fully the American culture. Right down to surgically widening their eyes to look more Western. If you were going to investigate anything, I would be interested in how American Pop Culture has effected their very Eastern country....

I want to know why they eat Kim Chi. Cabbage boiled in fish sauce. Yuck.

Glad to hear from you by the way. I think I was the last to email you.

see Colleen. this is why we should make a documentary in korea.
first of all kimchi is not something that is boiled in fish sauce.
and secondly i'm sure that there are a lot of intellegent korean girls who appreciate their own korean culture.
no offence and i'm not offended at all.
the point is that these are some of the reasons that filmmakers exist.
and colleen,
if we were to make a documentary on any subject in korea, i think that you are going to totally nail that shit as the director.
love you love you.
