Very small icon post.  But since these are the first icons I've done in about six months, I thought I'd better go ahead and post them in case it's another six months before I do any more. :P

SQUEEEE!!!!! OMG, new icons!!!

You must have felt inspired! Those are fantastic - I love the glow-y feel to them and the originality (especially 4, 6 & 13). The text is absolutely amazing, love the placement on 1 and the text on 7 and 8 is so creative.

You're back!!! And now I have to watch the show so I could steal some of the pretties. :D

I was surprised how well some of these turned out, since I've been feeling so uninspired for so long. Do you suppose it helps to have something new to icon? Something you haven't already seen a billion gazillion icons for that are all better than you could do anyway so why try? ;)

Well, I don't agree with the "all better than yours part" but I think it definitely helps to have something new to icon... As much as I love BSG, I think I'll stop trying make decent icons because all the good caps have almost all been done to death - and since my style is more "clean" than "creative", there's hardly anything special about them. *sigh* I'll focus on Hornblower (or New Amsterdam if I really like it! ;))

But enough about me! I'm so glad you're inspired again!!

I think smaller fandoms are more fun to icon anyway. Highlander has been most rewarding for me.

I'm looking forward to watching Hornblower so I'll know which of yours to snag! :D Well, in addition to the ones I've already picked out... Some of them are so pretty I don't think it'll even matter who the character is. ;)

Ooh ooh ooh I love all of them, esp. 1, 7, 9, and 14. I really love the effect you put on them. I've noticed you using #1 in other comms, and I've been meaning to say what a pretty icon it is. Anyway, will be snagging a few! I've been wanting more NA icons and been too lazy to make any more. :D
