A friend said she was going to tell her children never to run over an empty bag or box on the highway, because they were always full of baby bunnies.

my friend's dad used to swerve to hit boxes in the road, calling out, "maybe somebody left a baby in this one! ::sssmmmmpph:: guess not!"
until he hit a washing machine on the road once. now he's like... paralyzed. i hadn't talked to her for years when this happened so i'm not sure of the details. but yes. hehe...
